On Thursday 4th December 2025, SocEnv collaborated with the Technical Apprenticeship Consortium TAC, to deliver a lunchtime webinar for those on, or involved with, the Environmental Practitioner apprenticeship.
Highlights from the session:
Dr Caroline Sudworth MPhys(Hons) PhD, Director of the Technical Apprenticeship Consortium, shared information on the journey behind the Environmental Practitioner apprenticeship, from its’ concept, early design and implementation.
Tom Cheek MSET QTLS, Education Relationship Manager of SocEnv, provided information on how joining a professional body can support an apprentices career development, as well as opening the doors to becoming a Registered Environmental Practitioner REnvP. This included guidance on the shortened route, where the apprenticeship certificate provides the evidence required to earn the post-nominals of REnvP.
