About the network:
The SocEnv Pathways Network is a new initiative which facilitates a supportive community of potential and current registrants who support and advise one another through their routes to registration. It strengthens the pathways between education, experience and professional registration as a Registered Environmental Practitioner (REnvP), Registered Environmental Technician (REnvTech), or Entry-Level Environmentalist (ELEnv).
Using a dedicated Microsoft Teams Channel we share resources, guidance and developments with our members, offering regular opportunities for discussion, networking and feedback. All with the goal of helping you to progress onto and through our professional registration pathways.
We are looking for passionate early-career professionals who want to achieve professional registration, or who are curious to learn more about its value and benefits. Together, we will create opportunities to connect with like-minded peers, share experiences, and support one another’s professional development.
This is about building a community that inspires, celebrates different career journeys, and explores how professional registration can help individuals thrive while contributing to a stronger, more sustainable profession.
To become one of the founding members of the network, you must meet one of the following criteria:
- Currently studying an ELEnv eligible qualification
- Have completed an ELEnv eligible qualification
- Currently an ELEnv registrant
- Currently an apprentice on a course eligible for the shortened route to registration
- Have completed an apprenticeship which is eligible for the shortened route to registration in the last 2 years
- REnvTech or REnvP registrant who have gained their registration through the shortened route
