Completing this apprenticeship gives you the opportunity to take the next step in your professional journey, by applying for SocEnv registration as an Entry-Level Environmentalist (ELEnv).
SCQF L5 – General Farm Worker with the essential requirement to have completed the optional units of:
• Applying nutrients to crops
• Monitoring and maintaining healthy crop growth
• Planting crops and plants
• Preparing and cultivating sites for planting crops
SCQF L6 – Crop Production
Apprentices who complete this pathway can use their apprenticeship certificate as evidence to be awarded ELEnv status by the Licensed Member with whom they hold membership.
Apprentices who select the other pathways (Livestock production; Poultry production; Mixed farming) will not be automatically eligible for ELEnv.

How to Get Started
To be awarded the Entry-Level Environmentalist title, you must be a member of a professional body licensed by SocEnv to award it. These bodies can advise you on the full costs, including membership and registration.
